First off, I dedicate this post to one of the greatest sports fans who ever lived. Yankee icon “Freddy Sez” passed away Sunday at 85. I had the good fortune of encountering the unofficial mascot of the Bronx Bombers a few summers ago and his pure-hearted love of everything Yankees was inspiring.
