Alabama just sent out a press release stating Tide linebacker Prince Hall’s decision to transfer to Division II Central Washington.
Hall played in 36 games in his three seasons and started 14. The Moreno Valley, Calif., product recorded 152 tackles — 13 of which were for loss including three sacks.
You might remember Hall for his three suspensions for team violations in 2007 and 2008. He was a freshman All-American following 2006 season, but ran into trouble soon after that.
In other news …
– I am not a believer in preseason polls (even less is preseason polls released in May), but I might as well pass on the following link to Tony Barhart’s early thoughts on the 2009 season. Tide fans might like it.
– The Alabama/Auburn baseball series resumes at 6 p.m. today at Plainsman Field. It won’t be on television but tomorrow’s regular season finale will be on Fox Sports South.
