VIDEO: Where is James Carpenter?

We just got done watching a Monday afternoon practice, and one key part of the Alabama offensive line was not around. It’s too early to read anything into it yet, but starting left tackle James Carpenter was not there.

In his place with the first team was Athens (Ala.) product Alfred McCullough. See the video below and check back for updates after Nick Saban’s afternoon news conference.

Stay tuned, the video is still loading. It will be up soon.

Practice update and video

Just got back from Monday afternoon’s media viewing period of practice. And now, some updates.

Linebacker Cory Reamer was not practicing, presumably as one of the few new players coach Nick Saban said came down with the flu making the rounds. Receiver Marquis Maze missed Saturday’s practice, but was back on the field Monday. Alfred McCullough of Athens was still missing, however.

Check out the following video of the wide receivers working out starting with Julio Jones.
