Noteworthy: The Vols four-game winning streak has pumped life into Cuonzo Martin’s first Tennessee team. The run includes wins over Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and Arkansas. Each came by double figures except the 75-70 win at the then-No. 7 Gators last Saturday. … Each of the past five Alabama foes bettered the average allowed by the Tide this season. … The Alabama bench outscored Florida’s 23-0 in the nine-point loss Tuesday. .. Only freshmen Levi Randolph and Nick Jacobs have started the last three games for Alabama. … Trevor Releford still leads the SEC averaging 2.3 steals per game. … Alabama travels to Arkansas next Thursday before playing host to Mississippi State next Saturday.
