Alabama jumps in RPI after beating Ole Miss

The Crimson Tide played just once last week, but the win over Ole Miss impacted its RPI standing.

Alabama (15-7) jumped five spots to No. 31 in the official RPI released this afternoon by the NCAA. Ole Miss dropped to No. 52 after entering Coleman Coliseum at No. 40. The 69-67 double-overtime loss to the Tide obviously impacted the computer formula quite a bit.

Remember the NCAA selection committee uses this data when determining the field for the postseason tournament.
