There’s no number more important to postseason basketball hopes than the Ratings Percentage Index. Alabama’s had a solid RPI rating all season with a strong strength of schedule.
But how did the computers process the three-game losing streak?
The Crimson Tide fell to No. 29 in the ratings released today on the NCAA website. A week ago, Alabama sat at No. 20. But losses to Vanderbilt (N0. 30) and Kentucky (No. 5) caused the drop.
