Alabama falls on the road at Mississippi State

Brian Bryant scored five points in the final 10 seconds to push Mississippi State over Alabama, 56-52 in Humphrey Coliseum.

The Tide had a chance to tie the game with 7 seconds left, but Trevor Lacey instead drove to the basket for a layup. It cut the lead to one, but Bryant’s 3-point play in the closing few seconds sealed it.

JaMychal Green was only Alabama player in double figures with 14 points.

Read much more about this, including Anthony Grant’s thoughts on the final sequences, in Sunday’s newspaper.
