Brian Bryant scored five points in the final 10 seconds to push Mississippi State over Alabama, 56-52 in Humphrey Coliseum.
The Tide had a chance to tie the game with 7 seconds left, but Trevor Lacey instead drove to the basket for a layup. It cut the lead to one, but Bryant’s 3-point play in the closing few seconds sealed it.
JaMychal Green was only Alabama player in double figures with 14 points.
