Add another to the list. Alabama left tackle Barrett Jones was awarded the Danny Wuerffel Trophy today.
The award named for the former Florida quarterback is given to outstanding college football players and students who also go above the call of duty in serving the community.
Jones has a 4.0 GPA after receiving his undergraduate degree in August. He’s now working his masters.
Jones has also made multiple trips to Haiti following the earthquake that destroyed large parts of the country nearly two years ago.
