Rolando McClain at Decatur residence during fight, gun shots fired

For the second time this year former Alabama football player Rolando McClain was present at the scene of gun shots fired in Decatur.  Click here for details from the January incident.

Today’s story is still developing, but see what my colleagues at The Decatur Daily have reported thus far:

Football star Rolando McClain was present Wednesday night at a Skyview Street Southwest residence when an altercation occurred, Decatur police said.

Officers arrived in the 1000 block of Skyview after receiving a report of gunshots at 10:20 p.m. One person had been hurt in a “physical altercation,” a release from police said.

The victim refused medical treatment at the scene and drove himself to Decatur General Hospital, where he was treated in the emergency room and released, police said.

Police Lt. John Crouch said an acquaintance of McClain’s lives at the residence. Crouch said investigators have not determined whether McClain was involved in the altercation.
