Update 4:46 p.m.:  More details are emerging from the Thursday afternoon arrest of Rolando McClain. Oakland Raiders coach Hue Jackson told reporters McClain was in Decatur attending his grandfather’s funeral.

A few more details from the incident were released by Decatur police. It began as a fight between the unidentified victim and McClain’s friend Jerradius Willingham, a former basketball player at Shelton State in Tuscaloosa.

McClain allegedly pulled a pistol after the fight, according to the news release, which details the incident in more detail:

“(The victim) said that while he was still on the ground, McClain walked over to him and put the gun to his head. The victim reported that he begged McClain not to shoot him and that McClain took the gun away from his head, held it next to his ear and fired it,” the release stated.
