All the talk of Alabama’s perceived advantage in a rivalry game that sometimes defies convention leaves the Tide wary of upset.
Trent Richardson can understand why the Tigers could be playing with a chip on their collective shoulder Saturday afternoon.
“It’s also gonna make them more dangerous because everyone counted them out,” he said. “You can’t look at them like we’re gonna whoop them because they don’t have nothing to lose. They’re going out there throwing every punch they can. We have to make sure we stay safe out there, and play competitive when we can.”
Alabama remains a 21-point favorite according to nearly every sports book in Las Vages on Tuesday afternoon.
